During the renovation of an industrial facility, time and budget are the two most critical factors. A recent project by ProShine demonstrated that traditionally cumbersome and expensive facade cleaning can be made lightning-fast, safe, and highly cost-effective using the unique C10 washing drone developed by ABZ Innovation.
Our client commissioned us to clean an industrial hall of approximately 5,000 m², predominantly featuring aluminum cladding (with a smaller proportion of glass). The building had never received an exterior wash before, resulting in a significant accumulation of industrial dust and stubborn, greasy dirt on the facade built up over several years.
Surface treatment was justified not only from an aesthetic standpoint: the true objective was the perfect preparation for the planned painting and renovation works.
Due to the high working altitude and extensive surface area, drone cleaning provided a solution that was orders of magnitude faster, safer, and more cost-effective compared to traditional methods using scaffolding or aerial work platforms.
The project—even when factoring in operational fine-tuning and on-site logistics—was successfully completed in just 4 working days, achieving the set technical goal: the facade provided a properly cleaned foundation for future renovation works.
