ABZ Innovation Introduces the ABZ Clean Station:
The World's First Purpose-Built Ground Station for Drone-Based Cleaning

Szentendre, Hungary — 2026

ABZ Innovation, one of Europe’s leading drone manufacturers, today announced the launch of the ABZ Clean Station — the world’s first dedicated ground station engineered exclusively for drone-based industrial cleaning operations. Designed as the essential operational partner to the award-winning ABZ Innovation C10 cleaning drone, the ABZ Clean Station transforms a capable aerial platform into a fully optimised, professional-grade cleaning system.

Facade and building maintenance has long been one of the most technically demanding and cost-intensive sectors in facility management. Scaffolding, cranes, and industrial alpinism remain the dominant methods — slow, expensive, and hazardous by design. Drone technology has opened a new path, and the C10, with its 150–200 bar pressure system and 60-metre reach, has demonstrated what is operationally possible. The ABZ Clean Station is the infrastructure layer that makes those results repeatable, predictable, and professionally scalable.

The Technology Behind the Station

The ABZ Clean Station is a modular, high-performance ground unit housing a complete water management and fluid delivery ecosystem. At its core is an industrial-grade high-pressure system — delivering 150–200 bar through a 60-metre motorised hose reel — paired with a multi-stage water treatment chain that includes two-stage mechanical pre-filtration, a dual-column swing-mode industrial water softener with automatic salt-solution regeneration (removing iron, calcium, and magnesium from the supply water), and an optional Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration unit capable of producing up to 600 litres of ultra-pure water per hour. The result is streak-free, spot-free cleaning results even on the most demanding glass, metal, or composite surfaces, without heavy chemical intervention.

The system’s dual-tank architecture — a 200-litre chemical tank and a 440-litre RO clean water buffer — separates cleaning agents from purified rinse water, with remote-controlled switching between them at the push of a button, without landing the drone or interrupting the cleaning cycle. All functions are accessible via a centralised PLC control interface, with both local manual operation and a dedicated remote control unit available.

Safety is built into the architecture at every level. A phase sequence monitor prevents the system from powering up if the three-phase electrical supply is connected incorrectly — protecting the pumps and motors from reverse rotation. An integrated audio-visual low-level alert notifies the operator when fluid levels fall below operational thresholds, ensuring the drone can be safely withdrawn from the cleaning surface before pressure is lost.

Operational Efficiency by Design

Where improvised pressure washing setups introduce unpredictability and downtime, the ABZ Clean Station eliminates both. A dedicated RO buffer tank ensures the C10 is never waiting for filtration during active cleaning cycles. The motorised hose reel — expandable to 100 metres on request — is remote-controlled for rapid deployment and carries an ultra-lightweight hose weighing just 92 g per metre, allowing the C10 to manoeuvre freely at height without the drag of conventional pressure hose. The system reaches operational readiness in under 15 minutes, and its modular, forklift-compatible steel frame allows it to be transported and installed at any job site with standard infrastructure.

The ABZ Clean Station has been refined through extensive real-world operational hours — on high-rise facades, shopping centre exteriors, industrial sites, and solar installations — before reaching this commercial release stage. It is, in the truest sense, production-tested technology.

Expanding the C-Series Ecosystem

The ABZ Clean Station is the latest extension of ABZ Innovation’s C-Series industrial cleaning ecosystem, built around the EU C5-certified, award-winning C10 drone. It joins a growing portfolio that includes purpose-built cleaning nozzles — the 3-Position Nozzle 050, Dirt Blaster 050/030, Foam Head ST-75, and Power Nozzle 034 — each engineered for aerial application rather than adapted from ground-based systems.

Together, the C10 and ABZ Clean Station represent a complete, end-to-end drone cleaning solution — one that removes the need for scaffolding, reduces labour requirements, eliminates worker exposure to height-related risk, and delivers a consistently superior finish compared to traditional methods.

Availability

The ABZ Clean Station is available now through ABZ Innovation’s global distributor network, active in more than 40 countries. Custom configurations and pricing are available on request. Demonstrations can be arranged through regional representatives.
