European-built industrial water jetting drone brings heavy-duty cleaning to steel structures, tanks, silos and wind turbines, with no scaffolding, cranes or rope access
SZENTENDRE, Hungary — October 23, 2026 — ABZ Innovation, a European developer and manufacturer of heavy-duty civilian drones for agricultural and industrial use, today launched the C30, an industrial water jetting drone built for the hardest cleaning work at height. Paired with dedicated ground equipment, the C30 delivers 500 bar (7,250 psi) of pressure and up to 30 liters (7.9 gallons) of water per minute to surfaces as high as 120 meters (394 feet): bridges, steel frameworks, tanks, silos, wind turbine blades and industrial facades that are reached today with scaffolding, cranes or rope access teams.
Thirty years of buildup, removed in less than a day
Before launch, ABZ Innovation put the C30 to work at an active industrial site in Visonta, Hungary. On a 600 m² (6,460 ft²) facade carrying an estimated 30 years of bonded carbon, the drone finished the job in less than one working day, using water alone. A scaffolding contractor had quoted roughly a week of site time for the same surface. The system ran at a sustained 500 bar throughout, while its radar kept the cleaning distance constant; the pilot never had to correct it by hand. At the same site, the C30 cleaned the exteriors of mash tanks that had been coated layer by layer for seven to eight years by liquid overflowing from the top.
Pressure breaks it loose. Flow carries it away.
The C30 is built around a piece of physics that only a heavy-lift platform can fully use: pressure alone does not clean an industrial surface. High pressure cracks bonded deposits, coatings and rust off the substrate. At 30 liters per minute, the loosened material is flushed away immediately. In industrial cleaning, rinsing capacity often decides the speed more than pressure does, and together the two deliver up to four times the cleaning performance. On large facades and silo walls, radar-guided automated cleaning covers 4–10 m² (43–108 ft²) per minute, depending on the surface and weather.
At this level of pressure and flow, detergents are unnecessary in most jobs. Where oil, fuel or industrial grease is involved, the system runs hot water, typically at 70–80°C (158–176°F), which makes the residue lose viscosity and wash off. Most surfaces are cleaned by physical force and heat alone, without chemical run-off.
“Every industrial site has a surface nobody has cleaned in years: the top of a tank, a silo wall, the steel under a bridge. Getting there has always meant scaffolding, cranes, or people on ropes next to a high-pressure jet. The C30 is not a camera drone with a hose attached. It’s a cleaning machine that flies. In Visonta it removed 30 years of dirt and grime from a building facade in less than a day, with water. The people stayed on the ground. ”

Engineered for one job
Weighing 43 kg (95 lb) with battery, the C30 was designed from the start as an industrial cleaning machine. An extended lance keeps the rotors further from the work surface. A flexible, extra-light hose supplies water from the ground, so there is no heavy tank on board. Interchangeable nozzles tune the pressure-to-flow balance to each surface, and only the wear-prone tip needs replacing. Radar-based automatic distance control holds a precise, constant cleaning distance, advanced flight control keeps the drone steady in challenging conditions, and the fully sealed airframe withstands water spray, high humidity, detergents and disinfectants.
Two configurations, matched to the job
The C30 works with specially adapted high-performance ground equipment in two setups:
For solar farms, nozzle and pump settings reduce pressure to a minimum while keeping the full 30 l/min flow, giving delicate panels a gentle, chemical-free, high-volume rinse.
A complete C-Series
The C30 joins the C10 in ABZ Innovation’s C-Series of industrial cleaning drones, one of the company’s best-selling product lines. The EU C5-certified C10, recognized with the CONSTRUMA Award 2026, remains the precision tool for glass, facades, roofs, solar panels and daily facility maintenance at heights of up to 60 meters. The C30 takes over where the work gets heavy.
Availability
The C30 is available to order from today through ABZ Innovation’s network of distribution and service partners in more than 40 countries, backed by operator training, spare parts supply and long-term technical support. It is manufactured at ABZ Innovation’s new facility in Szentendre, Hungary, one of the largest dedicated civilian drone production sites in Europe, which opened in September 2026. In North America, the C30 will fly live at ElevateUAV 2026 in Hallandale Beach, Florida, on November 17–18.
