Under the motto “The heartbeat of the fresh produce business”, FRUIT LOGISTICA showcased the entire value chain for fresh fruit and vegetables from February 7 to 9. In 26 halls, everything revolved around the latest trends and innovations in the global fresh produce industry.
We were one of 2770 exhibitors from more than 140 countries at Fruit Logistica in Berlin last week.
Starting with a refreshing Welcome Party at the stunning Metropol Berlin gave us the opportunity to enjoy a more laidback side of business.
We also had the chance to introduce ABZ Innovation on the Farming Forward stage. The presentation by our CEO, Mr Károly Ludvigh on How drones are revolutionizing agriculture was received with great interest.
Fruit Logistica provided us with a unique opportunity to gain an even deeper understanding of our future customers’ needs, expectations and current views on precision agriculture. It showed that producers are also looking to the future and trying to modernise their farms. We are pleased that the feedback we have received has shown that we can offer solutions to the problems of farmers in e.g. South America, whether they are struggling with steep mountainous terrain or farmers growing exotic fruits that are difficult to spray.
Fruit Logistica has created what would have been difficult to achieve without it: a connection between modern technology and growers who want to be part of the future.
