A New Home for European Drone Manufacturing

Today, ABZ Innovation opened the doors of its new manufacturing facility in Szentendre, Hungary — a site that now ranks among the largest dedicated civilian drone production facilities in Europe. It’s a moment years in the making, and one that reshapes what the company can build, and how much of it. 

Why This Facility, Why Now

The new site is roughly four times the size of ABZ Innovation’s previous production home. That extra floor space translates directly into capacity: a targeted threefold increase in production this year alone. Behind that number is a simple driver — demand. ABZ Innovation’s drones are already at work in more than 40 countries, spraying crops, spreading seed and fertilizer, cleaning industrial surfaces, and moving cargo, and that footprint keeps growing. 

Built for the Job, Not the Showroom 

Demand isn’t coming from one direction. In agriculture, labour is harder to find, input costs keep rising, and the environmental cost of conventional spraying is under increasing scrutiny — the L-Series answers that directly, cutting water usage by up to 90% and chemical inputs by up to 50% compared with conventional methods, without asking farmers to compromise on coverage or precision. On the industrial side, the pressure looks different but points the same way: operators are moving away from slower, manual cleaning methods, and the C-Series has become ABZ Innovation’s fastest-growing line as a result.
